Best Bar None

We are delighted to be a Gold Award member of the Best Bar None Scheme as we promote a safer and more socially responsible licensed trade in Scotland. In March 2020, our team enjoyed the local award ceremony where our success was reported in the local press. We were also awarded 'Best Newcomer' of the National Best Bar None scheme. Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Award 2020

We are proud to be recognised as a finalist for 'Scotland's Best Pub' in the Molson Coors Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards 2020.

The Bar and Brew Award 2019

We won the 'Best Bar in South East Scotland' at the Scottish Bar
and Brew Awards 2019 by evidencing excellent customer service

and contributions to the local community. Sara Cox from BBC R2

Peebles in Bloom

Over the past 6 years, The Central Bar has been recognised for their flower displays in the business category. This year we were delighted to receive the Gold award. Well done to Roddy for growing and maintaining the fantastic displays.
