Located at the heart of the beautiful Borders town of Peebles, The Central Bar is situated on the Northgate. Just off the High Street at Veitch's Corner lies a street filled with clothes shops, furniture shops, an art gallery, places to eat and of course, our lovely bar.

Inside you will find a cosy bar filled with locals and tourists. On a sunny Scottish day, you will also find people enjoying the sun outside. The bar is naturally split into two sections, the bar area and the lounge. In the lounge area you will find comfortable seating, darts board, penny bar and fruit machine. We have Sky Sports showing daily on our large screens and the facility to show different TV channels on our screens. Just ask if there's something you would like to watch; we can always accommodate!

Although a small bar, we have a lot to offer. Including: darts board which is free for anyone to use and we keep some spare darts behind the bar (just ask), karaoke, and special events throughout the year.

Our gantry is filled with well known products such as: Tennents, Guinness, Strongbow, Smirnoff, Gordon's and Scottish Leader; however, we also offer a range of bottled ales and premium gins produced locally in the Borders.
